To state that all cats are grey, or to state that non-grey cats do not exist, is the same thing. It is logical: you admit it regardless of the truth value that these statements have in common. According to the proverb, however, this value is “true” at night and clearly “false” during the day. In mathematics, the truth value of a statement is the same day and night: once it has been proven, it is proven forever. Can we determine the truth value of any statement? Mathematicians can answer such a question.
