In Géométries multiples II, polygons – squares, rectangles and triangles – are continuously transformed in a second-dimension cycle through linear drawings, to a third through perspective, and then to a fourth through real movements involving time.

These polygons prefigure certain aspects of life such as movement, and the fact that “nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed”, recalling the observations of Leonardo da Vinci and Antoine Lavoisier.

Everything moves but nothing changes. In this piece, joints and springs move, but something does not change: the underlying graph.

In mathematics, graphs are abstract models of network designs that connect points.

These structures, ubiquitous in our connected society, are used to model any set of objects having pairwise relations.
